Aluminum Foil/Reinforced Tape (PDF, 10.41 Kb) is a flexible, wrapping tape designed to protect against moisture, heat and UV. It is a 5.5 mil, dead soft aluminum tape combined with a non-woven web. This backing is highly conformable and works well on uneven and contoured surfaces, as well as complex shapes. It provides excellent puncture resistance and will not tear as easily as many thin foil tapes. It can be torn by hand to ensure easy deployment and manipulation.
